These terms apply to purchases from otaven.ca. Otaven is a trade name of Nexalton Inc., a Canadian corporation. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Who we are

Otaven is an independent reseller of brand-name home appliances and electronics. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by the brands we sell. Brand names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to describe the products.

Product condition and compatibility

Each listing states the item's condition, model number and key specs, and photos show any marks. Please check the condition, model and specs, including size and voltage, before you buy. You're responsible for making sure an item is compatible with your needs.

Prices and taxes

Prices are in Canadian dollars. Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout. We may correct pricing or listing errors. If an error affects your order, we'll contact you before completing it, and you can cancel for a full refund.

Orders and availability

Stock is limited. If an item sells out after you order, we'll let you know and refund you in full. We may cancel an order we suspect is fraudulent.

Pickup, delivery and inspection

Pickup and local delivery are described in our Shipping Policy. Please inspect your item at pickup or delivery. Damaged, missing or incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours, with photos. Ownership and risk pass to you when you pick up or receive the item.

Returns

Returns follow our Refund Policy: a 30-day return on defects for sealed items and a 14-day return on defects for refurbished and other non-sealed items. Items marked "Sold as-is" can't be returned. We don't accept change-of-mind or compatibility returns.

Manufacturer support

We don't provide coverage or service on a manufacturer's behalf, and we can't confirm whether a manufacturer will support a resold or refurbished item. Any support offered directly by a manufacturer is between you and that manufacturer.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002 or other laws that can't be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
